Solo Stove is a double wall chimney type wood burning furnace, which operates based on the chemical reaction between oxygen and combustion. This type of stove utilizes oxygen to efficiently barbecue wood while reducing the amount of smoke produced.
Inside the shell of Solo Stove is a small combustion chamber. When burning wooden blocks, the burning of the blocks releases heat and gas, and oxygen enters the combustion chamber. The oxygen in the combustion chamber makes wood burn more evenly because it can generate a carbon layer on the surface of the wood, thereby controlling the combustion rate. Oxygen also makes flames brighter, which can help you better see food being grilled.
It utilizes air flow and heat distribution to eliminate smoke. When wood burns in the combustion chamber, the top of the combustion chamber is designed in the shape of a chimney. When the smoke rises to the top, it is guided into the gap. The function of the top gap is to guide smoke to the combustion chamber rather than flowing out.
