Mesa Solo Stove
The solo furnace has a hollow, double-walled structure. It has holes around the perimeter at the bottom of the outer wall and more holes at the top of the inner wall. The bottom of the unit contains a built-in perforated wood stand and a non-removable base for collecting ash. As the wood burns, air is drawn out of the unit through holes on the outside and pushed back into the unit through holes on the inside, creating what they call secondary combustion, which is hotter and essentially smokeless.
