How To Choose a Fireplace?

1.Real Fire Fireplace

  • Wood Burning Fireplace

Burning through firewood and new environmentally friendly special charcoal.

Advantages:

low cost, sufficient heat, sufficient combustion, and clean emissions. It is the most natural and romantic way of heating.

Disadvantages:

Burning wood produces smoke.

Smoke exhaust pipes need to be laid in advance. The smoke pipes must extend out of the roof and ensure a sufficient distance from surrounding buildings to prevent smoke from affecting others. In other words, it can generally be achieved in single-family villas or self-built houses.

  • Gas Fireplace

Combustion by natural gas and liquefied gas

Advantages:

low cost, hygienic, energy saving and environmental protection.

Disadvantages:

Like wood-burning fireplaces, they also require a special flue

  • Alcohol Fireplace

Burning through denatured ethanol - paste alcohol.

Advantages:

smokeless, odorless and non-toxic after burning. The fuel is renewable, environmentally friendly and safe. The space occupied can be large or small, and no flue is required.

Disadvantages:

The heating effect is relatively weak, and the alcohol burning time is not long enough.

2.Simulated Fire Fireplace

  • Mist Fireplace

Water uses ultrasonic waves to create fog, and then lights are used to project simulated three-dimensional flames.

Advantages:

The flame effect is realistic and dreamlike, and it can also increase air humidity. No real fire, high safety. There are no restrictions on the structure and layout of the house, including houses and apartments.

Disadvantages:

It only has a decorative effect and cannot be used for heating.

3.Freestanding Or Built-In

  • Freestanding Wood Burning Fireplace

Advantages:

1. Independent stoves can be used at any stage of decoration, giving them more interior design options;

2. All sides of the furnace body can dissipate heat, and the heating effect is better;

3. The stove top can be used to warm tea and make soup, making life more fun;

4. The installation position and fireplace style can be changed at any time for easy design replacement!

Disadvantages:

1. The entire furnace body is exposed. If there are children under three years old at home, they need to be prevented from being accidentally touched; this can be solved by adding a fence around it!

4

  • Built-In Fireplace

Advantages:

1. It can be better coordinated with the home decoration style and more beautiful;

2. The fireplace is embedded in the wall, which can save floor space;

Disadvantages:

1. The fireplace is embedded in a closed structure and relies on glass surface radiation for heating, and the effect is slightly worse than that of an independent type;

2. The fireplace and chimney structures are enclosed in an external closed structure. If you want to replace them later, it will be difficult and costly;

3. The installation location is generally in the middle of the space, and the location options are small!
