Decorative Metal Security Screen

The Corten piece was folded as the folds add a rigidity to the 2mm Corten. There were three variants for the grove/clearing theme use a repeat pattern of trapezoid rectangles, scaled up and flipped to add a variation suggesting both trees and the structural geometry of shipping containers. The graphic’s are limited to three layers and three hole sizes to emphasize the graphic and abstract character of the design. The piece was then perforated with hex-holes to mimic a trees abstract corpse. The lettering was then perforated by GNEE through the method of punching.
