What Is Solo Stove?

Solo Stove is a portable stove that primarily burns wood. They adopt a unique patented design that maximizes airflow, increases wood combustion efficiency, and reduces smoke.

Solo Stove includes a stainless steel drum with a series of holes drilled near the bottom. The drum is located on a sturdy base, allowing air to freely flow into the firebox. Wood burns in the drum, producing heat and a small amount of smoke.

Can You Grill With a Solo Stove?

Yes. To use Solo Stove barbecue, you need to use the Solo Stove grill accessory, which is a metal grate installed on top of the stove. The grate is designed to hold and bake food. During barbecue, you need to move food on the grill to ensure it is cooked evenly.

How Does It Work?

Cold air enters the fire source through the bottom vent and heats up between two layers of stainless steel. The cold air entering from the bottom vent provides sufficient oxygen for the fire at all times. Due to the fact that more oxygen can reach the fuel source, firewood burns more efficiently than traditional fire pits. The air entering the double-layer wall is heated and pushed onto the fire. This resulted in a second combustion, burning away the small wooden particles that were originally smoke.
